Asked if the fitting was 1/2” for hookup, so bought kit for that hookup. When I opened it, it comes with its own 3/8” hookup kit. Which wouldn’t connect with 1/2” gas valve. So had to use my kit after all and not theirs. So had unnecessary extra cost.

Great cover for the fire pit. Fits perfectly and looks perfect. The problem is that it arrived with a large dent on one side. I contacted customer service and sent pictures. They said that they would respond within three days; they never did. The cover is great; the service is lousy.

It looks just as described. The shipping did take a while, but worth the wait!

First off, I must say that the ordering experience through Houzz was exceptional. My customer service rep Molly H. was very patient with me as I asked her many questions. After all, this was a rather big purchase - in size and dollars. She contacted the vendor directly to find out just how long my fire table would take to arrive, and whether it would delay my delivery if I chose a different burner besides 'elegant,' which comes with this table. Since it would have added time, I chose not to special order. Actually, the who thing is kind of a special order which is why they tell you 4-5 weeks. Although disappointed, I understood, and looked forward to an end of July deliver of my 100% made in America fire table. Again, thanks Molly H. for your quick response and patience. Much to my surprise, the table arrived in 9 days from order date! Once ordered, I was given a tracking number from the freight carrier, who called me one day before delivery so I could choose the time! Wow, this thing is big and in lots of heavy packaging including wood and pallets, so make sure you have some muscle on hand when you get yours. Once unpacked, the table was easy to assemble. It holds two 20-lb propane tanks. If you only have 1, that's okay, but with two you never need to worry about running out. No special tools are required, and the instructions are easy to follow. I was surprised there was no igniter (like the kind on my former, cheaper table, and like the kind on gas grills). This turns out to be a pleasant surprise, because we all know the igniters wear out over time, so you wind up using a firestarter/lighter most of the time anyways. The concrete top is HEAVY, so make sure you place the base exactly where you want it, because once it's assembled it's tough to move, and you risk separating the venturi tube from the control valve (you'll understand what this means when you read the directions, it sounds more complex than it is!) The table fires up every time, the glass that came with it is stunning (a mixture of black, copper and clear irredescent fireglass, and I just love it. It's a solid table and I love it. There is a small area about 2" wide where the finish is missing from one of the edges. I called Designing Fire directly, and a friendly customer care rep had me fill out a claim form, and they are sending out a touch-up repair kit. When you order yours, get some stone sealer and apply it right away to protect against the elements. You'll need to apply a couple coats once per year.

The product arrived in great condition, on a pallet. We were contacted twice prior to delivery, once to confirm that date and then again on the day of to confirm arrival time. I have no complaints about the seller at all!
