After explaining to the woman on the phone multiple times that I need a quote on upgrading the wiring, she told me that she will send someone out and would cost $59. Since everyone else told us $200+ to get the estimate, we jumped at it. When Howard arrived, we showed him the panels and how it needs upgrading. We told him that we would like to upgrade the electricity from 60 AMPS to 220. Then he told us it was ~$350 for him to estimate the basement and ~$850 to estimate for the whole house. I explained to him that we want to change the whole system ans wanted to know how much. We told him our home unspection was thorough and had pictures and we can show him the different areas. He kept telling us the Boston Globe recommends an electrical inspection and that was what he was going to charge for. I told him the woman on the phone said the quote would be $59. He said that was just for coming out because electricians don't usually do same day service. We told two other electricians who were willing to come out on the same day not to bother because H.O. was cheaper. We were so wrong. When we told him that we were mislead and that his service was not required, he insisted we pay him the $59 for standing there telling us he won't do a quote for 5 minutes. He even went so far as to tell us that if we cannot handle getting an electrical inspection, then we should just rent. My husband asked if he talked to all his potential clients that way. Howard told him, "No, just to those who don't want to pay." He was rude and condescending and the company is deceitful. I walked Howard out where he tried to smooth things over with me by telling us that our meters have 60AMPs each and would cost $3800 to upgrade. We already knew the AMPs we would be working with. He thanked me for staying calm. Then he asked me how much we were purchasing the house for and told me to walk away and just rent. I bid farewell (and good riddance)to him since I paid him. I went to a different part of the house to let a different contractor into the house. When I went back to introduce the man to my husbamd, there was Howard again! He was telling my husband that he did give some service because he told me about the meters outside. He was lucky he was not physically shown the door.

Called them to come out and install all new Smoke and Carbon detectors in my home. They were fast and proficient and did a really good job. Highly recommend them
