First time home buyers moved into a large house with a sickening builder's beige everywhere. We had a lot of ideas for use of a lot of color in our semi-open floor plan house. I found Lauren on houzz. She was on time and very knowledgable in color theory and how to pair colors. She came very prepared with reams of paint colors and instead of forcing her own ideas or colors on me, she helped me make my vision work. I really enjoyed picking out colors with her. Because we painted about 10 or 11 rooms, the 15% discount at the hardware store she works at really helped us save us money. I love the colors in my house and how they work together and get compliments from everyone who sees our dining room (raspberry chairs with a dark brown wood and silver walls with a dark slate shadow box). Also really like my navy blue office with pool teal bookshelf inserts with the white windows/doors and build-ins.

Lauryn came well prepared and with a easy going manner that made choosing colors easy! Very patient! She is observant and listens closely. I did not feel pressured to make an immediate decision so that I feel the ultimate choices my husband and I made are perfect for us! Lauryn also referred professionals she has worked with to help with the project. We have not started the project yet but plan to begin soon.

I hired Lauryn from LP Designs after meeting her at the Local Hardware store in Sandy Springs where she was providing color consolation services. She came to my home and provided a 3 hour color consultation to help me select paint colors for my home. I found Lauryn to be very knowledgeable about color and color selection. She had great color tips and suggestions. Throughout the process she took into account each rooms light exposure and how it affected the color choices. Her energy and enthusiasm were a great catalyst in helping me to choose the colors that I like and that would work in my home. She made sure that the colors flowed throughout the rooms. She was timely with her follow-up. I have since recommended her to a few of my friends and they have been just as satisfied. I would most definitely hire her again.

Lauryn Preller was asked to assist us with choosing complimenting paint colors for all the rooms of our house. We spent four hours together while Lauryn collected and suggested paint colors after getting a feel for what we wanted the outcome to be. After our time together, we picked out paint for every room on the main level as well as the loft and hallway area upstairs. The paint for the upstairs bedrooms will be decided upon at a later date. Only after the painting is complete will we decide if the results are what we had envisioned.

I was struggling and not confident about choosing the correct intensity or coordination of colours for our open plan home. The first thing I noticed with Lauryn is that she listened and quickly understood how I needed help. I noticed that she is very natural about what she does and she is confident. She doesn't talk too much so that the process takes more time than you wish to take but she does discuss intelligently and is efficient finding a solution. In summary, she is professional. The time was well spent, the colours are the correct ones for this house and location. This family will enjoy the results for many years to come. Thank you Lauryn.

I heard about Ms. Preller from an ad her firm left at the local hardware store, offering consultation for paint color choices. We had just moved to the area and had to repaint the entire interior of the house, and my wife and I were going crazy with all the choices. Called the number and was initially taken aback by the cost, but decided that we needed to move quickly and that in the big picture the cost was actually quite modest. Very glad we did. Ms. Preller was very professional and has a very good eye for style, color, and light. Listens closely to our preferences explained her recommendations carefully. Chosen colors look terrific, certainly much better than what it would have looked like if we had made choices on our own.

I hired Lauryn of LP Design to assist with the development of a color palette for the first floor of our townhouse. She was great to work with! She arrived on time and she was very professional. More importantly, she really knew her stuff. Lauryn listened to my thoughts and concerns and incorporated my ideas extremely well into our color palette. We ended up with a color palette that was beautiful and cohesive. Lauryn left me with a detailed list of paint colors and accent colors for all rooms. We will paint over the next few weeks. I am very excited about the tranformation of our place via this new color palette. Once we finish downstairs, we will schedule an appointment with Lauryn to help us with the bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs. I can't wait to work with her again! I hired Lauryn to help me pick paint colors for my basement walls as part of a redecorating project. It was tricky because the lighting in my basement is very challenging. Lauryn showed me countless combinations of color and was very patient with me as I changed my mind many times. In the end, the colors look great and are exactly what I had in mind! As an aside, Lauryn was very professional in all our dealings. She was prompt to appointments and provided detailed bills. Overall, my experience was very positive and I would recommend Lauryn to anyone needing help with their project.
