odessalight I think the clock is too small for the space....maybe add other round objects or a shelve underneath...or a bench to sit on to put shoes on.

All About Interiors LLC What about either one of these ideas; a console table with large mirror above. You can put a few decorative accessories on the table. If seating is needed, a few cube ottomans put together to form a bench agains the wall. They can be moved around for additional seating if needed. I hope this helps.

yolie1110 I have a couple of expresso Ottomans ,a console table in a cozy tv room would look out of place,I have an expresso leather loveseat as well

Barbara Griffith Designs A contemporary cabinet, console of some type with doors or drawers..solid looking..it needs a little bulk. Then something large above it. Stools, ottomans are all too small.

njmomma How big is the wall. You may be able to wall paper the wall with a modern pattern, add a tall narrow console table and put the stools underneath it. The table could then be used for some wine and wine glasses or books and games. Keep the clock over the console .

CUTmodern An espresso wall shelf would work well above the stools. You seem to have nice "Restoration Hardware" like tastes, so a concrete accent might look good.

Maggie Duran I love clocks so I have 3 big clocks in one wall- and that looks very nice (num should be odd numbers, 3 vases, 3 candles ) hope it helps

oakleyspanky Yes i also think the clock looks too small, and the two stools look plain and would not be used sitting against the wall like that. I do love the clock though, just think its in the wrong place. Need something to make ordinary extraordinary

yolie1110 I got the idea of barstools from houzz, there is no specific area for a barstool I don't think, at least it's modern looking they work in my room.
