Island on wheels and what shape?
This is the real size of my kitchen 14x18 this will be a remodeled kitchen in a L shape this just an aprox. draft. My concern or I ran out of ideas about the island. I want an island for 1)entertainement 2)work station 3)extra room as cabinets. I thought of the wheels because it can be moved either somewhere closer of further and/or it is removable if needed. Could be possibly also used in summer on the porch :). The concept of kitchen is functionality and resale home (current kitchen over 20yrs old).

simi11 I stumble upon this kitchen island design it looks intriquigingand could possibly be incorporated in that space like in the middle of the kitchen and would eliminate another small eating table anyone has seen such one, of course than the wheels would be out of question, it is the 4th island:. http://www.kitchenbuilding.com/armstrong-kitchen-cabinets/
