What do I seal a reclaimed wood dining table with?
We purchased a very reclaimed wood dining table from Restoration Hardware that is not sealed. We don't want to ruin the natural look but are afraid of stains taking its toll.

Twisted Minds Custom Designs Addres your query to Restoration Hardware, as the seller of the piece they should be able to give you the best response to your question.

Marie Hebson's interiorsBYDESIGN Inc. Depending upon the wood - a good oil will do - but I'd call a couple of local furniture restorers and ask them what best works in your climate. Depends upon where you are situated in the world how intense you should go.

Here is a recipe for a natural wood sealant - I'd try a spot on the underside of your table first to be sure its the look you are after.

onthefence Definitely ask Restoration Hardware. If something goes bad (unlikely but it can happen) and you've used products other than what they recommend, getting any kind of return or credit from them may be tricky.

eta - also check their website. They may have a recommended maintenance product listed.

Susan Mills Design Very true onthefence, which wood is it? They use oak, elm, pine and acacia. Depending on the wood, as some are hardwood and some soft, they would need different finishing. Some of the pieces such as the flatiron are very open grain and quite rough, whereas the Monastery Table is a smoother surface. Once again though, it would make a return or credit difficult if anything went wrong with the piece.
